Founding Product Manager

Turn recovery into something people actually do.

Gurgaon · In person · Founding team

Everyone can measure themselves now. Sleep, stress, HRV, recovery, all of it sitting on their wrist every morning.

Almost nobody knows what to do with any of it. That gap is the whole company.

About HRV Club

HRV Club is building nervous system fitness for ambitious India.

The ability to move between effort and recovery is one of the most important capacities a person can build. To push hard when life demands it. And to come all the way back when it does not.

For decades, we have learnt how to train the body for strength, endurance and performance. We have built gyms around it, industries around it and habits around it. We have barely built anything around our ability to recover.

A growing part of everyday load is no longer physical. It is screens, information, decisions, traffic and constant stimulation. Millions of people now measure the effect through sleep scores, HRV, stress and recovery data.

Measurement arrived. The intervention layer did not. We are building it.

We are starting with physical clubs, built around heat, cold, breath, light and stillness, where recovery becomes something you practise regularly, in the middle of a city and the middle of a normal week. Not something you escape to on a holiday. Not something you do only when something has already gone wrong.

The club is our first product, not the company.

On top of that we are building an intelligence layer, using wearable and health data to understand someone’s state, personalise what they do, and learn what actually works for them over time.

The clubs are where we learn. Intelligence is how that learning reaches far more people.

Our ambition is to make nervous system fitness as normal a part of health as physical fitness became before it.

The first HRV Club is being built in Gurgaon now.

The product

Two things, and they feed each other.

The club is the first. Not just a good recovery space. The job is to take what is actually known about recovery and nervous system regulation and turn it into something simple enough, useful enough and enjoyable enough that people build it into a normal week. Before work. After training. After a bad day. On a Tuesday.

The intelligence layer is the second. Using wearable and health data, understand how someone is doing, personalise what they should do, and learn how their body responds over time. It starts inside the club, and eventually it reaches far more people than the clubs ever will.

You own products across both.

Kind of problems you would own

  • How does someone get enough out of their first visit that this becomes part of their week instead of something they tried once?
  • What should change in what we recommend, based on someone’s sleep, stress, training and recovery data?
  • What should the app know, recommend and remember, and what should it leave alone?
  • How do we know whether an intervention actually worked, honestly, without claiming more than the evidence supports?
  • How does what works for the first hundred members become something that works for thousands, in a city we have never opened in?

Nobody has answered these in this market. Your job is to work out which one matters most right now, form a point of view, and go find out.

How we would work

You would be the first product hire and own the product closely with the founder.

You will also have direct access to HRV Club’s advisors, including neuroscientists working on the nervous system, doctors, and some of India’s strongest consumer health builders from Ultrahuman, Cult.fit and Temple.

You will get a lot of exposure, real ownership and enough room to experiment, learn fast and build your own point of view.

The expectation is not that you follow what everyone says. It is that you take the best inputs, go close to the user, and turn all of it into a product that actually works.

Who we are looking for

  • You are street smart and a problem solver at core.
  • You have built, shipped or solved something real, and can tell me precisely which part of it was yours.
  • You go close to the problem. You talk to users easily and notice what they do not say.
  • You can work from first principles when there is no benchmark to copy, which here will be most of the time.
  • You are comfortable with data, but you do not worship dashboards.
  • You probably already spend more time thinking about your own health, training, sleep, recovery or human performance than your job requires you to.

We care much more about what you have built, how you think and how quickly you learn than where you studied or how many years you have been doing it.

Probably not for you if

You need a problem to be well defined before you can start solving it. Or health is simply another industry you would be equally happy working in.

The deal

Founding team, which means meaningful equity and real ownership.

You would be one of the first few people building HRV Club, with the opportunity to shape what the product and company become.

We will discuss compensation and equity openly in the first conversation.

Full membership from day one, and a wearable if you do not already have one. You cannot build this product without living inside it.
